Church Elders
"A charge to keep I have, A God to glorify; A never-dying soul to save, And fit it for the sky."
-Charles Wesley-
Your soul is precious; and priceless. Its value is found in it’s Creator (Isaiah 57:16) and it’s Redeemer (1 Peter 1:18-19)
Therefore God has given His Church and more specifically its Shepherds/Elders the responsibility of caring for the souls of men and women (Acts 20:28; Hebrews 13:17; 1 Peter 5:1-3).
At First Assembly we take the responsibility of ‘soul care’ very seriously and have created a framework where a number of godly, mature, wise, and compassionate men and women are available to serve the spiritual and practical needs of those who attend.
You will find below a brief biographical sketch of each of our Elders.
If you need ministry from the Elders you may call them at their numbers below.
May the Chief Elder, Jesus Christ (1 Peter 5:4), build you and bless you!
-Pastor Rick

The Guerrero family arrived in Atascadero in 1988 and immediately became a part of our Church family. You will find Henry and Sue’s fingerprints, at some point in time, on almost every ministry of the Church – worship team, youth & children ministries, Board of Deacons, intercessory prayer, evangelism, etc. Their love for God and people is contagious.
